ARTICLE N° 116718
The Pearl MMGC1450SC-855 snare drum is based on a hybrid body combining North American maple and eucalyptus. The 6-ply 5.4 mm construction creates a thin but dense body, designed for control and precision. The maple adds warmth and roundness, while the eucalyptus enhances the focus of the sound. This combination creates an immediate attack with a shorter decay.

The 60° external chamfer accentuates the bite and improves vibration transmission. MasterCast moulded hoops reinforce the attack and limit unwanted harmonics. The result is a clean, controlled sound, even at high volumes. The SR-017 trigger allows precise adjustment of timbre sensitivity. Bridge CL shells reduce stress on the barrel and help maintain a balanced resonance.

This snare responds very well to nuances and ghost notes. Its solid, well-maintained bass makes it a formidable recording tool.
