The Pearl PHM1450C-204 Philharmonic is a 14" x 5" orchestral snare drum made from a one-piece solid maple body. This single-ply 7.5mm construction produces a deep, dark and very balanced sound. The SR-505 Triad Silent Strainer provides a smooth, accurate response, even at very low dynamics.

The Pearl PHM1450C-204 Philharmonic is a 14" x 5" orchestral snare drum. Its body is handcrafted from a single ply of 7.5 mm solid maple. This one-piece design ensures uniform vibration across the entire surface of the body.
The result is a rich, dark, well-defined sound. The midrange remains balanced without taking over. Bass is full but never overpowering. The SR-505 Triad Silent Strainer allows the use of several interchangeable timbre types. Each timbre configuration retains excellent sensitivity. The response remains progressive, even at very low playing intensity.
MasterCast moulded hoops stabilise tuning and control harmonics. TB Classic tube shells reduce contact points with the body. This design preserves the natural resonance of solid maple. The Remo Diplomat Renaissance skin enhances the warm, mellow character of the instrument. The High Gloss Walnut Bordeaux finish adds a deep, elegant aesthetic.
