The Pearl PHX-1412/C #210 snare drum is a beautiful beast designed for large orchestral venues. With its 4-ply African mahogany body and maple bracing, it projects a round, warm sound with great bass depth.
It's equipped with the brand-new Triad SR505 triggering system, so you can easily switch between different timbres. And we're talking about a nice mix: coated cable, synthetic gut, stainless steel and lightweight cable.
This system allows independent adjustment for each type of timbre, giving you great precision depending on your style. In a single movement, you can go from a very dry, articulate sound to a rounder, warmer texture.
And with its vintage-style banding, discreet chrome hooks and pretty Walnuss matt brown (210), this body looks great!
