Presentation
The Pearl PMX904XPC-339 drum kit is part of the Professional Maple series, renowned for its rigorous craftsmanship and distinctive sound. The drums are made from 5.4 mm 6-ply maple, a choice that favours a clean response and harmonic richness. The 45° chamfers enhance the precision of the attack while preserving a natural resonance.
The 20" x 14" bass drum delivers a clear, well-defined low end with enough depth to cover a wide range of styles. The 10" x 7" and 12" x 8" toms respond quickly, facilitating fluid phrases and fine nuances. The 14" x 14" bass tom provides a solid foundation, without excessive heaviness.
The 2.3mm SuperHoop II hoops frame the sound and contribute to a clean attack, ideal for precise playing. RL Bridge shells, combined with RL-10 models for toms and RL-20 for bass drums, ensure reliable, long-lasting tuning. The mini muffler built into the bass drum makes it easy to adjust bass control to suit the context.
Remo UT Pinstripe skins on the toms and Powerstroke 3 on the bass drum immediately create a coherent, usable sound base. The Matte Caviar Black finish reinforces the elegant, professional character of the ensemble. This Fusion configuration lends itself equally well to contemporary music, modern jazz and demanding studio sessions.
The kit is supplied without hardware, cymbals or snare drums, so you can build your own custom setup. Tom stands and clips must also be ordered separately.
