With the Pearl Decade Maple DMP905C-260 drum kit, you can get into the big leagues without breaking the budget. This fusion kit, dressed in elegant Satin Brown Burst, has that vintage chic feel reminiscent of classic 70s drums. It's understated, classy and looks just as good in a rehearsal room as it does on a subdued stage lit by a few spotlights.
What you hear is the warm sound of maple. All the barrels are made from 100% maple, 6-ply, 5.4 mm thick. The result is great projection, round mids and a clear attack. The 20 "x16" bass drum is just right, neither too muted nor too intrusive. It is perforated to accommodate the toms.
The configuration is balanced: 10" and 12" toms, 14" bass tom, matching 14" x 5.5" snare drum, an ideal format for playing in all registers, whether you're into pop, rock, funk or even hip-hop. It's a real chameleon set, ready to follow you in your art!
The kit comes with the HWP-830 pack: an edgy Demonator P-930 pedal underfoot, two cymbal stands (one straight, one mixed), a fluid H-830 hi-hat stand, and a beefy snare stand. All the hardware is stable, solid, uncluttered, but effective in all situations.
The toms are mounted using Pearl's classic OptiLoc system, which guarantees stability and resonance. No weird vibrations, no muffled drums: just pure sound.
