Presentation
The Pearl PMX904XPC-883 belongs to the Professional Maple series, renowned for its consistency and highly musical approach. The 5.4mm 6-ply maple drums emphasise full mid-range and controlled projection. The result is a consistent sound that's easy to play in a wide range of styles.
The 20" x 14" bass drum develops a precise low end, with just enough depth to remain legible. The 10" x 7" and 12" x 8" toms are responsive, making it easy to play smoothly, even at a fast tempo. The 14" x 14" bass tom completes the ensemble with a solid, well-controlled presence.
The 45° bevels provide a clean attack and simplify tuning. The 2.3mm SuperHoop II hoops provide resonance and stability. The RL Bridge shells, combined with the RL-10 model for toms and the RL-20 model for bass drums, ensure a reliable fit over the course of rehearsals and concerts.
The mini muffler built into the bass drum lets you quickly adjust the level of control to suit your playing style. Remo UT Pinstripe skins on the toms and Powerstroke 3 on the bass drum provide a balanced sound base right from the outset. The Matte Mocha Swirl finish adds a modern, discreet touch, with a strong visual character!
