Presentation
The Pearl PSD903XPC-768 President Deluxe revives the spirit of the first Pearl drums with a resolutely modern approach. The 7.5mm 6-ply lauan drums develop a dark, round and naturally restrained sound. This wood is lighter than traditional mahogany, giving a smooth, very pleasant response under the sticks.
The 20" x 14" bass drum delivers a full bass that's easy to control thanks to the built-in mini muffler. The 12" x 8" tom is balanced and precise, ideal for expressive playing. The 14" x 14" bass tom adds depth without ever becoming overpowering.
The 2.3mm SuperHoop II hoops structure the attack and stabilise the tuning. The famous 'Battleship' shells, faithfully reissued, reinforce the vintage character while ensuring a reliable fit. Each barrel has an adjustable damper, so you can quickly adapt the resonance to suit the context.
The original Remo CS 'Black Dot' heads provide a warm, controlled sound base. The 'Gullwing' style bass drum feet provide excellent stability on the floor. The Desert Ripple finish combines deep reflections with a retro aesthetic!
