Pioneer’s XDJ R1 is composed of a 2 channels mixer with CD/USB players, MIDI wireless control from the iPad, the iPhone and the iPod Touch thanks to the Remotebox application from Pioneer available on Android and iOS. You can analyse tracks in the rekordbox software and start them thanks to the USB in order to access to numerous exclusive functions such as the Beat Synch, the Auto Beat Loop, or the Shift mode... 2 touch sensitive jogs are dedicated to precise scratch, pads are for loops, hot cues, sample and other sound colour effects. The remotebox application from Pioneer includes an X/Y pad, a way to assign and manipulate effects using only one intuitive control.
