- Track Separation for innovative performances, including live mash-ups If you want to create unique live performances that aren't possible with conventional DJ equipment, the DDJ-FLX10 has the answer.
With its Track Separation technology, you can simply load regular songs from your music library and use the controller to create remixes and mash-ups on the fly by independently manipulating the 3 key parts of the music: vocals, drums and inst (other instruments including bass and synths). For example, you can play the instruments and drums from one track while the vocals from the track on the other deck play over them.
There are dedicated colour-coded buttons to control each part, so you'll always have a clear visual understanding of what's playing.

- Active Part and Part Iso
Individually adjust the volume of vocals, drums or instrument to mix in new ways.
You can also choose to mute any combination of the 3 parts to create live mash-ups with other tracks.

- Effect part selection
Choose the parts of a track to which you want to apply effects and create your own live remix. For example, you could add echo to the vocals but leave the other parts alone.

- Partial instant doubles
Isolate a specific part of the track (vocals, drums or instrument) and transfer it to another deck for scratching.

- Extended On Jog display
With the new On Jog display, an evolution of the DDJ-1000, you can customise the information you see on the jogs so you don't have to take your eyes off the decks.

- Deck Info mode: displays deck information, including the global waveform. (When using Serato DJ Pro, this mode displays the Serato DJ Pro virtual deck).

- DJ Logo Display: Displays your own logo or favourite image on each deck after using the PC/Mac image transfer tool.

- New mix point link for smooth transitions
Enjoy a brand new playback concept in rekordbox that lets you create a smooth musical progression in your sets by linking mix points in tracks so that the next song starts at the perfect sound moment.
You can set the next track to start at the beginning of its melody when the current song's vocals end, ensuring a seamless transition.

- DMX output for rekordbox lighting function
Brighten up your performances with lighting effects that match the mood of the tracks you're playing. It's easy with rekordbox's lighting function and, thanks to the DDJ-FLX10's DMX output, you don't need any other equipment such as an external DMX interface.
Simply connect DMX-compatible lighting equipment to the controller and use rekordbox to create custom lighting effects, or configure the software to automatically adjust the colour and movement of the lights to progress with the music.

- rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro compatibility
- The DDJ-FLX10 offers free plug-and-play compatibility with rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro, giving you convenient control of your favourite software application.
- DVS support is available for rekordbox via selected subscription plans, and for Serato via a paid licence/subscription to Serato DJ Expansions or Serato DJ Suite.

- Multi-coloured jog ring
You can use the first ever multi-coloured jog ring on a Pioneer DJ controller to indicate different parts of the track being played when using track separation functions, or you can customise the colours to suit your preferred look.
