Pioneer DJ - DDJ-FLX4
The DDJ-FLX4 is a 2-channel DJ controller with a simple, ergonomic design, designed for beginners who want to explore the world of DJing. Affordable and well thought-out, its design and 2 new Smart Mixing functions will help you get to grips with the world of mixing. It inherits many of the features of one of the world's leading controllers (the DDJ-400), and lets you choose from a range of DJ software such as Serato DJ Lite, or Rekordbox's Performance mode for Mac/Windows, which you can use for free! What's more, with the Smart CFX function, you can put your own stamp on each track, simply by turning a knob to apply a combination of effects and add depth and intensity to your sound.

Activate Smart Fader and you can effortlessly create transitions between your tracks by simply moving the crossfader or channel faders, even if you want to switch from one musical genre to another, a feat that is generally difficult to master.
Simply move the fader and the BPM, volume, bass and other aspects of the music automatically adjust to create a seamless transition, without you even having to use the sync function. And give your favourite tracks an extra dimension with Smart CFX, which lets you apply combinations of effects to music at the turn of a knob.
When you're ready to share your mixes with friends and followers, the DDJ-FLX4 is the perfect device to do so.
By using its USB audio output for your microphone, you don't need any external equipment (such as a mixer or sound card) to add your voice to the mix: the sound from the microphone comes out of the controller at the same time as the music, so you can easily share your set by streaming from a single computer.
You can use Rekordbox or Serato DJ Lite software free of charge by connecting your PC/Mac to the DDJ-FLX4 to complete your DJ setup. And if you want to upgrade to Serato DJ Pro, you can purchase a licence or subscription to enjoy the premium version of the software.
Thanks to the major Rekordbox update for iOS/Android released in early 2023 you can also use the DDJ-FLX4 with your iPhone, Android smartphone, iPad or Android tablet.
The DDJ-FLX4 makes it easy if you want to MC or sing over your sets. You usually need a separate mixer or sound card to mix the mic sound with the music, before feeding it into your computer or device, but the DDJ-FLX4 mixes the audio for you.
So you can connect the controller to a single device and hear your mix at the same time as the mic sound. This makes the DDJ-FLX4 an ideal controller if you want to live-stream your sets, because you can do it all from one device.
