Sold in pairs, the Q Acoustics 3050C Walnut is a floorstanding speaker designed to deliver balanced sound reproduction and a precise stereo scene in hi-fi and home cinema installations. Each speaker is based on two 142mm bass/midrange drivers using the C³ Continuous Curved Cone™ profile, developed to improve bass dynamics and ensure better integration with the tweeter.

The 22mm tweeter benefits from a hermetically sealed structure that is mechanically decoupled from the baffle. Inspired by the technical solutions used on the Concept series, this design reduces the modulation effects caused by the bass/midrange drivers in order to preserve the clarity of the high frequencies.

The low-colouring cabinet also incorporates P2P™ (Point to Point™) bracing, designed to limit internal resonances and improve bass acoustic stability. Meanwhile, HPE™ (Helmholtz Pressure Equaliser™) tubes reduce internal standing waves to smooth the frequency response and limit distortion.

Thanks to an extended frequency response from 42 Hz to 30 kHz, a sensitivity of 90 dB and a recommended amplification power of 25 to 150 W, the 3050C pairs easily with a wide range of electronics. Its Walnut finish and satin-finish metal trim give it a warm, contemporary look that will suit a variety of listening spaces.
