The 5040 Matte Black from Q Acoustics embodies the perfect balance between contemporary design and acoustic performance. Designed for music and home cinema enthusiasts, these floorstanding speakers combine two C³ Continuous Curved Cone™ drivers with a decoupled tweeter, ensuring smooth high-frequency reproduction and superior bass dynamics.
Their architecture follows the principles of the Concept series, with a tweeter hermetically isolated from the baffle to eliminate internal resonances and preserve signal purity. The rigidity of the cabinet is ensured by internal Point-2-Point™ (P2P) bracing, which minimises parasitic vibrations and focuses the stereo image.
Helmholtz Pressure Equalizers (HPE™) complement this design by reducing standing waves, for a more open and realistic soundstage. With a sensitivity of 91.5dB and a power handling capacity of up to 150W, the Q Acoustics 5040 Matte Black matches a wide range of amplifiers and delivers a rich listening experience, whether it's music or movies.
Its minimalist design in Matte Black finish, combined with a dark acrylic baffle, makes it a stylish addition to any modern interior.
