The Q Acoustics 5040 Light Oak pair embodies the balance between acoustic performance and natural aesthetics. Technically, it combines two C³ Continuous Curved Cone™ drivers with a decoupled tweeter, ensuring smooth high-frequency reproduction and enhanced bass dynamics.
The tweeter, mechanically isolated from the baffle, preserves treble clarity by eliminating internal resonances. Point-2-Point™ (P2P) bracing stiffens the cabinet to reduce unwanted vibrations and improve stereo imaging accuracy. Helmholtz Equalizers (HPE™) complement this design by limiting standing waves, providing a more open and realistic soundstage.
With a sensitivity of 91.5 dB and a power handling capacity of up to 150 W, the 5040 Light Oak adapts to a wide range of amplifiers and delivers a rich, balanced sound reproduction.
