RCF - EVOX V15

With the EVOX V15, RCF is taking its renowned series of column speakers to the next level by offering a completely redesigned 3-way architecture to meet the demands of the most ambitious live performances. This new generation retains the ease of installation that has made the range so successful, whilst delivering greater power, clarity and sound control.

At the top of the column sits a 1.75-inch neodymium compression driver combined with the True Resistive Waveguide developed by RCF. This design ensures a constant dispersion pattern of 120° x 40° whilst minimising resonances, thereby guaranteeing natural vocal reproduction and uniform coverage across the entire audience. The ten 4-inch neodymium midrange drivers complete the system, offering excellent intelligibility and a balanced sound image similar to that of a point-source loudspeaker.

Low-frequency reproduction is handled by a 15-inch RCF driver housed in a robust bass-reflex enclosure made from birch plywood. Capable of reaching down to 35 Hz, it delivers deep, precise and perfectly controlled bass, which is particularly appreciated in DJ sets, concerts and events requiring a strong presence at the lower end of the spectrum.

The integrated 3,500 W Class D amplifier represents a significant leap forward compared to previous generations. This high-efficiency electronics provide substantial dynamic headroom whilst maintaining low power consumption and minimal heat build-up. Convection cooling eliminates the need for fans, ensuring silent operation and enhanced reliability thanks to the absence of moving mechanical parts.

The on-board digital processing is based on the EVOX V DSP platform, which incorporates several proprietary RCF technologies. In particular, the system benefits from FiRPHASE processing, which optimises phase coherence and improves the precision of the sound image, as well as Bass Motion Control technology, which protects the woofer whilst maintaining low-frequency extension. Four DSP presets allow the system’s behaviour to be quickly adapted to different applications: Linear, Live, Club and Voice.
