Electro-Voice - Pack EVOLVE 50 G2 White + Cover

The Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50 G2 White pack combines a portable column-style PA system with a cover specially designed for its cabinet. This gives you a sound system that also includes a mixing desk, with enough connections to bring together several audio sources in one place. The white finish also gives your setup a distinctive look, whilst retaining the same capabilities as the black version.

The EVOLVE 50 G2 White delivers a total of 1,500 W, with 750 W dedicated to the bass and 750 W to the treble. The 12-inch subwoofer is paired with a column comprising six 3.5-inch neodymium magnet drivers. The system covers a frequency range from 37 Hz to 20 kHz, with a horizontal dispersion of 120° and a vertical dispersion of 40°. Its maximum sound pressure level reaches 129 dB at 1 m, making it ideal for a variety of musical and vocal sources.

The built-in 6-channel mixer eliminates the need for an external mixing desk alongside the system. Four XLR/6.35 mm jack combo inputs are available for microphone or line-level sources, along with two stereo inputs via RCA and 3.5 mm TRS mini-jack. A Hi-Z 6.35 mm TRS jack input is also provided, along with switchable +48 V phantom power. The two XLR Aux & Mix outputs round off the connectivity options.

QuickSmart DSP processing provides access to 30 DSP effects and various sound management functions. Ducking automatically reduces the music volume when someone speaks, making it easier to transition between music playback and microphone announcements. The system can be controlled via its built-in controls or the QuickSmart App 3.0, with a 2.8-inch colour LCD screen for accessing settings. Stereo Bluetooth with TWS also allows music to be streamed from a compatible source without the need for a wired audio connection.

The RJ45 QuickSmart Link enables audio and control to be shared between two EVOLVE 50 G2 units. A 6.35 mm TRS jack footswitch socket is also available for system control. In terms of construction, the cabinet is made from plywood with a polyurea coating, the column is made from composite material, the pole is aluminium and the grille is steel. The bag supplied allows the column and pole to be transported separately.

The second item in the pack, the EVOLVE 50 SUB CVR cover, protects the subwoofer cabinet during transport and storage. Its tear-resistant reinforced nylon is designed to facilitate transport of the system, with openings on the top and sides that provide access to the handles without having to remove the cover. Its interior, measuring approximately 520 x 490 x 355 mm, is compatible with the subwoofers of the EVOLVE 50 G2, EVOLVE 50 G2 White, EVOLVE 50M G2 and EVOLVE 50M G2 White. The black nylon and white EV logo complete this protective cover whilst maintaining convenient access to the cabinet.
