Although minimalist, the Komit offers exceptional flexibility by incorporating a series of automatic functions that are both musical and intuitive.
The design is of type 'feed-forward' self-detection VCA which reads the incoming signals and reacts in real time. The 3-position switch 'Attack Decay' is set to SLOW for voice, MEDIUM and FAST for instruments to percussion. By increasing the ratio, the compression FlexKnee Komit gradually adjusts the pivot point, seamlessly transition soft / hard knee to obtain more natural results. Unlike most limiters that are designed to be transparent, Clipper Komit offers personality to your recordings.
Clipper simulates the sound created by vintage circuits. They saturate the entrance when levels exceed the headroom. Ten presets allow to pass from a slight harmonic overload in extremely bad.
