Radial - SGI RX

The Radial SGI RX is the receiver of the SGI Instrument Line Driver system designed for guitars and basses. It works in conjunction with the SGI-TX module to transmit an unbalanced instrument signal over very long distances. Thanks to a balanced XLR connection, the signal can travel up to 100 m without loss of treble or addition of noise. This system solves a common problem: sound degradation caused by long jack cables.

The SGI RX recovers the signal sent by the TX and reconverts it to the right impedance for your amp. The result remains faithful to the original sound of the instrument. It incorporates a top-of-the-range Jensen transformer. This component plays a key role in audio quality and galvanic isolation. It contributes to a wide, linear frequency response. It also reduces hiss and distortion and improves dynamics. A Ground Lift switch eliminates hum associated with ground loops.

The SGI RX is particularly useful in the studio for playing from the control room while driving an amp in an isolated cab. On stage, it facilitates the use of remote amps or complex systems with wireless and pedalboards. Power can be supplied via the 15V adaptor or via a standard compatible pedalboard power supply.
