Presentation
The RANE Performer embodies the very essence of the motorised 4-channel DJ controller, designed for live performances and professional mixes. Heir to the famous RANE One and RANE Four, this model pushes the boundaries with its 7-inch die-cast aluminium motorised platters, equipped with magnetically attached acrylic discs. These offer a precise tactile response, faithfully reproducing the experience of traditional vinyl turntables.
Each platter is equipped with a large 3.5-inch high-definition LCD display, providing detailed information on the selected deck, dynamic waveforms and music library. The Day mode lets you adjust the contrast for optimum visibility in all lighting conditions.
The Performer's mixing section is equipped with the legendary MAG FOUR crossfader with adjustable voltage, offering ultra-sensitive, customised response. The 4 Precision Feel faders feature a dual-rail mechanical system for smooth, precise operation, adjustable to the DJ's preference.
With its 4 unique stem control modes, the Performer allows creative manipulation of the mix. The Stem Split function automatically isolates vocal and instrumental parts, while Stem Level transforms the 3-band EQ into level control knobs, offering maximum flexibility in real time.
The Performer features over 25 fully-configurable Main FX and 4 Channel FX, controllable via the pads for unlimited creativity. It also features the fader effects of the Rane SEVENTY A-TRAK mixer for even more dynamic, customised performances.
With full professional connectivity including mic inputs, line/phono inputs, XLR main, RCA, Booth and headphone outputs, the Performer is ready for use on the biggest stages. Cirrus Logic audio converters and 32-bit digital signal processing guarantee exceptional sound quality, meeting the demands of the most demanding DJs.

Contrôleur agréable à manipuler, l'ergonomie globale est plutôt claire et intuitive, seule le workflow de la partie effet est je trouve pas idéale. Les plateaux motorisés sont de bonne qualité, le touché est plutôt bon et est modifiable par l'association de petites feutrines en forme d'anneau, un scratcheur pur et dur préférera sans doute un NS7, une rane one (ou un Denon SC6000m) mais aucun de ces derniers n'apporte autant de fonctionnalités que ce performer. Ce que j'adore : le touché de l'ensemble des faders, les écrans de plateaux aux informations affichées configurables, les petits écrans au niveau des pads, les fonctions essentielles sont accessibles en direct sans sous menu, le stems level au niveau des eq est pratique à utiliser et configurable voie par voie, une bonne qualité de son très proche de la rane 72mk2. Ce que j'aime moins : une section d'effet pas très intuitive et une légère coupure du son lors de la mise en service d'effets serato avec les gâchettes (pas de pb avec effets internes). Des économies sur la qualité des potentiomètres rotatifs à axes plastique au lieu de metalique, la qualité de ces éléments a évolué chez Rane ces 10 dernières années et pas forcément en bien... Là où le "gros concurrent" a fait beaucoup d'efforts... Pour que l'achat "Inmusic" soit encore justifiable ne rognez pas svp sur la qualité (un propriétaire : ex Numark SM3 ex CDN88 et ex Numark NS7III actuellement : Rane Empath, Rane 72mk2, Denon SC6000m)
