All-new motorised VINYLIZED JOG: For the same feel as real records
At the heart of every DDJ-REV7 turntable is the new 7-inch motorised jog, offering the same rotational stability as a 12-inch turntable and designed to give you the feel of mixing with real vinyl records. The acrylic top plate has a vinyl-like finish and texture to grip your fingers naturally, and you can choose between low and high torque settings and use the two felt discs included with each turntable - which fit snugly over the jog - to achieve the desired level of friction. Switch between 33⅓ or 45 rpm speeds at any time, and use the Stop Time parameter to set the time it takes for the music to stop once you press Pause: so you can decide that it should stop instantly, or prefer to make it slow down gradually, like when you cut the power to an analogue turntable.


On Jog Display: keep an eye on essential information
At the centre of each jog, a 3.5-inch LCD screen puts all the important information literally at your fingertips. So you don't have to keep looking from the decks to your laptop and from your laptop to the decks. Thanks to an omnidirectional viewing angle, you can see what's being displayed from any angle, and you can deactivate the digital marker that indicates the playback position whenever you like. You can also distinguish each jog using the included stickers if you prefer this method to the digital marker.

- Waveform mode
This mode allows you to see the overall waveform of the song on a given track, but also to see side-by-side the detailed waveforms of the songs on the two tracks, to help you make quick and intuitive adjustments. This mode also lets you keep an eye on BPM, playback speed (tempo), time remaining or elapsed, the digital playback point marker (which you can deactivate) and the number of beats in a loop that is currently playing.

- Virtual Deck mode
This mode lets you see the Serato DJ Pro virtual track and the number of beats remaining before you reach the next Hot Cue point.

- Cover art display
Display the cover corresponding to the track you are playing.

- DJ Logo display
Display your own logo or favourite image on each deck after loading it onto the DDJ-REV7 using the Image Transfer Tool for PC/Mac.


Instant Scratch: Quickly launch samples using the dedicated buttons
The DDJ-REV7 includes 4 original scratch samples that you can launch by pressing the corresponding physical buttons. Because the sounds are built-in, you can start them at any time, even if the controller isn't connected to your laptop. If you want to use your own samples, you can instantly load scratch samples from 4 banks that you've previously filled in Serato DJ Pro with the Scratch Bank function.

Scratch with style and confidence with MAGVEL FADER PRO. As well as being extremely robust, it can be customised with a range of settings to help you find the feel that suits you best.


22 built-in Beat FX including 3 new ones: dynamically modify the sound of your tracks
Add intensity to your transitions with three new Beat FX, for a total of 22 Beat FX that you can launch via the dedicated controls.
New Beat FX :
- Duck Down: a roll effect that fades as the pitch is lowered.
- Fill Out: a roll effect that forms a roll with a changing rhythmic pattern and fades with echo.
- Helix Out: an effect that samples the input sound and fades it repeatedly like a reverb, while increasing the playback speed and pitch.

You can also pull down and hold the effects levers to briefly apply effects from within Serato DJ Pro, or push them up to lock effects and leave your hands free to scratch or search for tracks. Instantly launch effects stored in the 4 FX Banks and edit them via the configuration utility on your PC/Mac. While you're using one of these effects, you can also trigger up to 6 others from within Serato DJ Pro. The DDJ-REV7 also features 5 popular Sound Color effects for you to experiment with.


Advanced audio design: enjoy high-quality sound
Thanks to an ESS Technologies digital-to-analogue converter and enhanced audio design, the DDJ-REV7 delivers the best sound quality of any Pioneer DJ controller. Even the unwanted noise typically created by on-board power supplies has been reduced for an even purer audio experience.


Plug-and-play compatibility with Serato DJ Pro: enjoy free use of the software
Once you've downloaded Serato DJ Pro onto your PC/Mac, simply connect the DDJ-REV7 using the supplied USB cable and start mixing. Enjoy tactile control of the software's various functions and effects by manipulating the controller's knobs, buttons, faders and jogs. The unit comes with a voucher for the Serato Pitch 'n Time DJ Expansion Pack, which allows you to change and synchronise tones while maintaining perfect audio quality.


Sophisticated, portable design: take your sets wherever you go
The DDJ-REV7 is solid and sturdy, yet light enough to be grabbed by the chassis handles and carried to your next show. On the aluminium top plate, the contrast between matt and brushed finishes elegantly distinguishes the player and mixer sections, making the unit look even more like a classic two turntable and mixer setup, with the On Jog Display also mimicking the labels in the centre of the vinyl records.


Other features
- Silent Cue: Activate the Silent Cue function to prevent the music from speeding up as the platter starts to spin. Simply select a Hot Cue, then press Play on the corresponding track, and the result will be the same as if you'd pressed a cue point on a DJ player.
- Smooth Echo: Assign the Smooth Echo effect to the control of your choice, such as a fader or pad. Then, when you activate this effect by pressing its dedicated button, the echo is triggered as soon as you act on the chosen control.
