The Revv D40 Black head amp is designed to offer a tube amp experience that's both vintage and modern. It captures the spirit of the great classic amps while incorporating contemporary features for everyday use. You get 2 independent channels, Clean and Overdrive, with a highly dynamic response. The design is deliberately kept simple to make it easy to get to grips with.
The Clean channel produces rich, clear sounds with plenty of depth. The Overdrive channel gradually builds up to a singing, expressive saturation. The Bright and Boost controls make it easy to adjust brightness and presence. Overall behaviour remains very sensitive to playing and attack.
The 6L6-based power stage provides a broad, solid base. The sound remains full-bodied without becoming muddled, even at high volumes. The 40W or 10W mode lets you adapt the amp to different situations. So you can work just as well in rehearsal as in the studio or on stage.
Built-in Two notes technology means you can play without a cabinet, thanks to the load system and cabinet simulations. You can record directly to XLR with a sound that's ready to mix. The amp also features multiple outputs and full MIDI for advanced configurations. Despite its wealth of features, the D40 remains focused on one simple thing: offering real tube sound that's easy to use!
