Rode - NTG5 Kit
The Rode NTG5 is an ultra-lightweight shotgun microphone designed for use in the most demanding recording situations. It features an innovative acoustic design with circular ports replacing the linear slots normally used. This improvement enables it to offer unrivalled transparency and natural sound without enhancement.

Popular with pole-vaulters for its reduced weight of just 76g, it also meets the needs of film-makers and sound engineers. Extremely resistant to the outdoor climate, with excellent resistance to humidity, intense cold and dust, it is also impervious to interference. Its tightly controlled frequency response, smooth off-axis response and very low self-noise (just 10dBA) ensure that the NTG5 sounds spectacular, especially when recording on location or on demanding shoots where superior sound quality is paramount.
With the NTG5, Rode has succeeded in creating a very compact and lightweight microphone that will be particularly appreciated by sound recordists. With the PG2-R pistol grip and long-haired windscreen, it allows you to make high-quality outdoor recordings while holding it in your hand. Of course, you can also attach it to a boom for traditional sound recording.
