The Tascam CA-XLR2d-AN is a universal audio solution for connecting professional XLR microphones to any camera with an analog input. With its high-end preamps, battery power, and advanced controls, it delivers studio-quality audio capture on any shoot.
Presentation
It offers two XLR/TRS inputs for connecting dynamic, condenser, shotgun or lavalier microphones with 48V phantom power. It also offers a stereo mini-jack input for microphones powered by plug-in power.
One of the strengths of the CA-XLR2d-AN is its power flexibility: it can operate on two AA batteries thanks to a removable case or be powered by the camera via its audio output. A passive accessory shoe allows you to add a wireless transmitter or microphone stand, ensuring a compact and efficient setup.
It features a high-performance microphone preamp, with studio-quality A/D conversion, a low-cut filter, a limiter and an Auto-Level function to prevent distortion.
With the Tascam CA-XLR2d-AN, even a camera without a digital audio input can capture rich, detailed sound, making it ideal for interviews, reporting, music recording and video productions.
