To set the piano at a suitable height, the BoomToneDJ KS-3 is a foldable, double-braced keyboard stand that adjusts between 673 and 914 mm. Its stabilising feet are designed to better compensate for uneven surfaces, helping to ensure a stable setup once the piano is in place. The off-centre attachment system makes setup easy, whilst the foldable design simplifies storage after a session. With a maximum load capacity of 20 kg and a weight of 6.8 kg, the KS-3 is shown here with the FP-40 whilst remaining practical enough to move when space needs to be cleared.

Once the piano is set up, the BoomToneDJ ST-1 is an X-shaped folding bench for keyboard players that allows the seating position to be adjusted according to the player’s height and the height of the keyboard. Four height settings are available between 480 and 600 mm, with a seat measuring 510 x 250 mm covered in black faux leather. Quick assembly and disassembly are particularly handy if the piano area also needs to be used for other activities or if the equipment needs to be stored away after use. Its maximum load capacity of 80 kg completes this setup with a seat designed specifically for keyboard playing.

For more discreet use, the Plugger Studio DJH40 is a closed-back dynamic headphone, suitable for DJing, monitoring and listening to music. Its closed-back design and comfortable fit make it ideal for piano practice with headphones, featuring a 40 mm driver with a neodymium magnet and a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Its sensitivity of 110 dB ±3 dB and impedance of 32 Ω make it suitable for use with various audio sources, whilst the 2-metre cable provides ample freedom of movement around the piano. The headphones feature a 6.35 mm TRS jack and a 3.5 mm TRS mini-jack adaptor to suit different outputs.
