The Sabian Stratus Expander cymbal bundle has been designed to allow you to expand your sound palette without unbalancing your set. It's part of the Stratus series, the result of 24 months of research carried out by Sabian in direct collaboration with drummers, artists and industry experts. This approach reflects the brand's desire to listen to musicians and develop its cymbals in line with real-world use.
Made from B20 alloy, these cymbals benefit from a base renowned for its harmonic richness and musical response. The medium-thin thickness promotes rapid vibration, ideal for expressive accents and nuanced effects. The 10" splash provides fast, clean attacks, perfect for punctuating a groove or underlining a transition. The 12" Cirro Stax adds a drier, more controlled texture, very effective in modern music and hybrid set-ups.
The 18" Zero cymbal completes the package with a broader, effects- and atmosphere-oriented character that's still easy to control. This pack works particularly well in pop, modern rock, electro-acoustic, fusion or worship styles.
