The Paiste PST 7 Rock set uses a CuSn8 bronze that is directly bonded to the 2002 Bronze, giving it a brilliant timbre and sonic stability that are appreciated in powerful styles.
The 14" hi-hat brings a clean articulation and openness that is easily heard in an electric band. The 16" crash reacts quickly and highlights accents with a bright, lively attack. The 20" ride provides a clear ping that cuts through the mix while retaining a controlled halo.
Each cymbal is hand-turned in Switzerland, so it retains the traditional look typical of the PST 7 series. The overall character remains energetic, cutting and warm, helping to maintain a steady presence on stage. The kit works effortlessly at high volume, with all 3 parts retaining their own definition.
