The result of the Tomatito collaboration, it can be used with the 520R rectified nylon and New Cristal sets without any break in tone.

Savarez T54R is for the guitarist who knows exactly what he's looking for: a 4th D string at normal tension, whose silver-plated copper wiring on a multifilament nylon core generates a warm, woody timbre with a well-dosed layer of brassy overtones. Normal tension allows the string to give way under the thumb, giving greater control over dynamic nuances, from pianissimo to forte, without forcing the attack.
This string is the result of direct work with flamenco guitarist Tomatito, which anchors its sound profile in the demands of both flamenco and classical repertoire. Its documented compatibility with the 520R set with rectified nylon trebles and with the New Cristal trebles makes it a targeted replacement solution: the 4th D often wears out before the other strings, and the T54R covers this replacement without unbalancing the set as a whole.
