The percussion instrument should adapt to the musician, not the other way round, and Schlagwerk has built the Rollin Cajon RC400 on this simple and powerful principle. Its horizontal shape revolutionises the approach to the Cajon.
Place it on your lap, or fix it in front of you using the adjustable wedges and integrated strap. It's designed with wheelchair users in mind, but any drummer or percussionist will find it gives them plenty of freedom of posture. You concentrate on the rhythm, not the position.
The multi-layer birch striking surface responds with immediate musicality. With a flick of the palm in the centre, you release warm, enveloping bass. At the edges, the snap is dry and articulate, perfect for backbeats.
This is a complete instrument, made in Germany with attention to detail. The surface can be wiped clean. Whether you're practising at home, in the workshop or on stage, the RC400 guarantees reliable acoustic response and democratic access to the groove.
