The SKM 835-XSW handheld transmitter features a dynamic e835 capsule with a cardioid polar pattern, ideal for rejecting off-axis noise and focusing on the vocals. Its input sensitivity is 1.5 mV/Pa. It has an RF output power of 10 mW and a battery life of approximately 10 hours on two AA batteries. The transmitter sensitivity adjustment range is 0 to -30 dB, adjustable in 10 dB steps.
Setting up the Sennheiser XS Wireless 2 is designed to be quick and easy thanks to automatic frequency management and remote channel synchronization. The EM-XSW 2 receiver uses a dual superheterodyne reception principle and true diversity to ensure flawless reception. The system's audio frequency response is 50 to 16,000 Hz (–3 dB). The receiver offers audio outputs on a 6.3 mm jack (unbalanced, +6 dBu) and XLR (balanced, +12 dBu). The squelch is adjustable from 3 dBμV to 28 dBμV via the pilot tone. The included rack-mounting kit facilitates integration of the receiver into professional installations.
