Seymour Duncan began producing the Antiquity Fender Mandolin pickup in the 1980s, when the mandolin was experiencing a resurgence. This single-coil pickup is designed for vintage mandolins, with top-going winding and north polarity, just like the originals. It comes with mounting screws and a schematic, and is wax-potted. The cloth braided push-back lead wire is typical of vintage instruments. It delivers a powerful tone thanks to its single-coil design.
