The Seymour Duncan Secret Agent is designed for a specific mission: to replace the traditional single-coil neck position on a Stratocaster, but with a more assertive personality. Its low-profile design means it fits discreetly under the existing pickguard, without requiring any modification to the wood. Installation becomes a simple upgrade.
Forget the fragility and hum of old single-coils. Thanks to its ceramic magnet and optimised winding, the Secret Agent produces a medium output with far greater acoustic density. The sound is warm, round and full, with a nice bite in the highs that never lapses into stridency. It's great for clean rhythm patterns and bluesy solos that need emotion and consistency.
