When DMX lines lengthen or branch, the signal often begins to lose stability. The Showtec DB-1-4 solves precisely this type of situation by providing clean, isolated DMX distribution to four separate outputs. Its approach is simple: a DMX input in XLR 3 or 5 pin, a 'thru' port to continue the line, and four fully regenerated outputs to feed projectors, effects machines or other lighting elements.

Its compact, solid 19-inch chassis makes it easy to integrate into an existing rack, technical flight-case or fixed control room. The M10 nut on the back also enables it to be mounted on a stand or structure, making it practical for mobile deployments. This model is ideal for clubs, performing arts schools, event organisers or theatres that need to maintain a reliable signal despite the proliferation of equipment.

It doesn't just distribute: it also protects the DMX network thanks to its electrical isolation between inputs and outputs. This isolation prevents a fault at the end of the line from being passed on to the controller or other fixtures.
