Showtec - DB-1-8/RDM

The Showtec DB-1-8/RDM meets the needs of installations requiring extensive DMX distribution while maintaining a clean, isolated signal. Thanks to its eight separate outputs, it can be used to structure a complex DMX network efficiently, clearly dividing the lines to avoid the losses or disturbances often seen on chains that are too long or too busy. The addition of the RDM protocol provides real convenience, as certain compatible projectors can be interrogated or configured remotely, reducing the need to travel for installation or maintenance operations.

The fixture has 3 and 5-pin XLR DMX inputs and outputs, as well as a 'through' port for continuing the original link. This choice of connectors makes it easy to integrate the DB-1-8/RDM into existing systems, whether new or older. Front-panel LEDs provide a quick visual indication of signal status, making it easy to identify a faulty line without having to disconnect everything.

Designed for integration in a 19" rack (1U), it fits easily into a fixed control room, flight or technical bay. Its low power consumption and universal power supply make it easy to deploy. The metal and plastic casing is robust enough to withstand repeated use.
