Showtec - NET-8/5

The Showtec NET-8/5 is aimed at stage managers and technicians who want a solid network interface to enable Art-Net, DMX, KlingNET and sACN to communicate within the same system. Its platform is based on an integrated Ethernet switch, allowing the unit to be used not only as a converter but also as an active link in the network. This versatility makes the unit equally useful in a touring rack or in a fixed control room requiring clean, orderly distribution of universes.

The eight isolated DMX ports can be set independently as input or output. This offers considerable freedom for structuring an installation, redistributing flows or recovering signals from fixtures already in place. Access to the settings remains intuitive: users can configure the fixture via its LCD screen or directly from a web interface, which simplifies adjustments during a show or in the preparation phase.

The NET-8/5 operates stably over a wide power range and can withstand temperatures of up to 40°C. Its 1U format makes it easy to integrate in a rack, and its chassis combining metal and plastic protection elements enhances durability in mobile environments. The etherCON ports ensure a secure connection, while the LED indicators on the front panel allow quick monitoring of network activity and DMX signals. Supplied with a Power Pro cable, it's ready to go straight out of the box.
