In compact lighting control racks, the Showtec Booster 2048 DMX makes it easy to distribute multiple universes to different pieces of equipment without compromising signal stability.
The 4 inputs and 16 outputs, all fitted with 5-pin XLR connectors, allow for clear organisation of DMX lines during complex stage set-ups, whether on tour or in a fixed installation.
The integrated RDM management system offers the option to filter or pass through data according to the requirements of the lighting network.
The integrated DMX termination function helps to stabilise the line at the end of the chain and reduces the risk of communication errors in extensive installations.
Four DMX universes can be distributed simultaneously thanks to the optically isolated design of the Showtec Booster 2048 DMX, ensuring a clear separation of signals between the different lighting streams.
Using two units allows management to be extended to up to 8 DMX universes, which simplifies the overall architecture of complex lighting systems.
