The SLXD14/B98H uses 24-bit digital technology, which offers a wide dynamic range and a linear frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, depending on the microphone used. With a range of up to 100 meters, this system ensures a stable connection in all circumstances.
Its lightweight and rugged SLXD1 bodypack transmitter features a secure TA4M connector and operates on two AA batteries or an optional Shure SB903 rechargeable lithium-ion battery, providing up to 8 hours of battery life.
Frequency management is facilitated by automatic scanning and infrared synchronization, which allows for quick pairing of the transmitter and receiver. The SLXD14/B98H supports up to 32 simultaneous systems per 44 MHz band, making it easy to integrate into multi-microphone setups. It is also compatible with Wireless Workbench software and the ShurePlus Channels mobile app, which enable real-time monitoring and control.
