Presentation
The Shure ULXD2 KSM9 G56 combines ULX-D digital transmission with one of the brand's most sophisticated vocal capsules, the KSM9. This electrostatic capsule has switchable cardioid or supercardioid polar patterns, allowing the pick-up to be adapted to the scene, the type of voice or the level of monitor. It stands out for its ability to reproduce the finest nuances, extremely clear articulation and highly effective control of plosives and sibilance, making it a benchmark for vocalists demanding impeccable accuracy and transparency.
The ULXD2 transmitter uses a 24-bit / 48 kHz digital architecture with a frequency response extended from 30 Hz to 20 kHz, guaranteeing faithful reproduction of the capsule. AES-256 encryption technology ensures secure transmission, while the Gain Ranging function automatically adjusts the dynamic range to avoid saturation or loss of detail, without any gain manipulation on the transmitter side.
Power can be supplied by AA batteries or the Shure SB900/SB900C Lithium-Ion battery, providing over nine hours of operation and accurate status monitoring. The backlit LCD screen makes configuration easy, and the frequency and power locks ensure safe use in stage and broadcast environments.
The aluminium construction ensures lightness and durability, and the integrated antenna optimises RF performance. Compatible with ULX-D receivers and all associated synchronisation and networking features, the ULXD2 KSM9 G56 is a natural fit for complex live productions.
The combination of the ULX-D motor and the KSM9 capsule makes this transmitter the solution of choice for lead vocals, refined vocal performances and stage applications requiring extreme precision.
