Remote digital stagebox for GLD, SQ or Qu consoles 16 in XLR, 8 out XLR. EtherCon dSNAKE ports for linking to a GLD or Qu console, daisy-chaining another Audiorack AR2412 or AB168, or ME series personal monitors.
Presentation
Equipped with 16 mic preamps with phantom power indicators and 8 XLR outputs, it uses Allen&Heath's proprietary dSnake protocol to communicate with Qu and GLD consoles. Connection to the consoles or to an AR2412 audiorack is via a simple Cat5 network cable fitted with an EtherCon connector. The AB168 is equipped with a second EtherCon network port, enabling serial connection of another AB168 or connection of an ME-1 personal monitor.
Side bracing allows it to be placed horizontally or vertically, while a carrying handle makes it easy to transport this stagebox weighing just 4.8 kg. For fixed or on-stage configurations, the AB168 can be rack-mounted thanks to its dedicated rack-mounting kit.
