Folk Electro Acoustic Guitar
Electroacoustic Folk guitar from the Thinline series presented at Namm 2019. Solid spruce top, spruce back and sides, Natural Gloss finish. Japanese production. Spruce chosen for its wide dynamic range and rich harmonics, combined with the strong, clear sound of spruce, supported by the projection and ergonomics of the Thinline body. Another fine achievement by Japanese luthiers, which will improve with age.

The CTP-3 CoolTube, the first and only integrated tube preamp for acoustic guitar, produces a rich, full sound.
It takes its name from Takamine's innovative technology, which uses an ultra-low voltage 12AU7 tube, so low that it remains cool to the touch, with a variable tone that can be adjusted from bright to thick and warm.
The EQ section of the preamp uses stepped filters to sculpt the bass and treble, with semi-parametric control over the midrange (a control knob adjusts the frequency between 250 Hz and 5 kHz).
