Tascam - RC-W100-R86
The Tascam RC-W100-R86 is an RS-485 wall-mounted controller designed to provide simple control of an audio system based on the MX-8A mixer/matrix or other compatible devices. It allows you to control volume, source selection and the mute function via an intuitive wall-mounted interface suitable for European installations.

Its interface combines a rotary encoder with a push-button function and four programmable keys, offering quick access to volume control, signal muting or changing the audio source. Using the Tascam MX Connect software, the installer can precisely configure the available functions to minimise unnecessary operations and tailor the controller to the specific needs of each environment.
The built-in backlit display clearly shows the selected source and the current volume level. Two source management modes are available: direct selection via the keys for up to four sources, or selection via the display to manage up to eight audio sources.
The RC-W100-R86 uses an RS-485 connection via two RJ-45 ports, allowing up to eight controllers to be daisy-chained over a total distance of up to 200 metres. Its power supply, provided directly by the mixer via this connection, simplifies installation and reduces the amount of cabling required.
