Thorens created the TD 402 DD with the aim of combining impeccable quality with simplicity of use. It is the very first direct-drive turntable from the Swiss brand. Featuring a direct drive and a semi-automatic playback system, the TD 402 DD can surely be described as the best buy in its price range.

On the TD 402 DD, THORENS has done everything possible to ensure that you only have to worry about listening. Its start and stop systems are automatic.
To top it all off, the turntable has a switchable MM phono pre-amp built into its chassis, allowing easy and complete connection to all modern audio systems: a stereo amp, hi-fi system or even a pair of wireless speakers that don't have a phono input.
This turntable is equipped with a TP72 tone arm and a pre-mounted Audio Technica AT VM95E cartridge. The newly developed carbon tone arm combines lightness and strength, and also helps to limit vibrations.
The AT VM95E phono cell is one of the turntable's key assets, thanks to its technical features and performance: equipped with an MM-type generator with dual magnets (the coils are para-toroidal and made of high-purity OFC copper (99.99997%)) and VM technology (based on the use of two V-shaped magnets (Audio-Technica Vector Aligned technology)), the cell's magnetic performance is guaranteed.
Finally, the cell offers reduced sound distortion thanks to an isolation plate located between the coils, and also guarantees linear sound reproduction from 20 Hz to 22 kHz.

Je suis tres satisfait de ce produit qui correspond a mes attentes, en principe la qualité est toujours la dans cette marque que je connaissais deja depuis longtemps
et je vois que c'est toujours le cas maintenant (ce qui serait sympa ce serait qu'elle soit livrée avec une celulle d'une gamme legerement au dessus pouvant aller j'usqua 24000hertz car je pense que cette platine le merite)
tres satisfait des conditions de vente et livraison parfait pour moi
