Traveler's Escape EG-1 Custom V2 Gloss Black is a travel guitar with the soul of a full-scale electric: alder body and screwed mahogany neck for a warm feel, black walnut fingerboard with imitation mother-of-pearl block markers and 3-ply bindings for visual character without weighing down the format.

In terms of playability, the 21 jumbo nickel silver frets and 628 mm scale provide a familiar, comfortable grip for bends and tight riffs, while the 41.4 mm nut width is comfortable for all styles. The original d'Addario EXL110 strings make tuning and sustain easy.

On the sound side, a Full-Size Alnico dual-coil pickup powered by active electronics delivers rich clarity that can be plugged in directly via the 6.3 mm jack output, or exploited via the mini-jack headphone output and Aux input for undisturbed rehearsal. The integrated V2 headphone amp offers clean, boost, overdrive and distortion, and the Shadow tuner makes tuning easy, even on the move.
