The integrated gain is based on a discrete analogue stage. No fixed simulation here, it naturally pushes towards saturation.

Built-in effects? Driven by fixed LFOs, no dynamic envelope. Simple, but consistent with the format.

Output impedance is around 1kΩ. A discrete buffer protects the chain before headphone or loudspeaker output.

The internal amplification operates in class D. Less power-hungry, more stable when fully activated.

AA batteries? A choice of voltage first and foremost. Six units = 9V; Energizer Lithium models offer the best charge stability.

Boost, effects and rhythm engaged: no noticeable drop. The system handles peaks well, and there's no annoying hiss.

The voicing of the preamp remains centred on the midrange. It's perfect for breaking into a dense mix, without having to push everything.

The controls are intuitive! Selector, tone, volume: everything reacts without latency.
