Vandoren's PP06PG Optimum Rose Sax Alto Ligature Plates take the popular Optimum ligature principle and add a warm, elegant rose gold-plated finish. Designed for the alto saxophone, these three plates allow you to change the behaviour of the reed in a matter of seconds, without changing your usual set-up.
The lengthwise ribbed plate promotes fluid vibration in the direction of the reed fibres. The timbre is richer, with precise articulation that remains comfortable in fast passages. The version with two horizontal grooves concentrates the sound more: the projection becomes more centred, more compact, while retaining a natural delivery. Finally, the four-point plate frees up the reed, providing greater openness and flexibility in nuances.
Made from rose-gold-plated brass, these plates do more than just look good. They are a real sound adjustment tool for adapting your viola to your musical sensibility, whether in section, solo or personal work.
