The Vandoren PP25 Pressure Pads for German Bb clarinet leather ligature give the musician real control over the colour of his instrument. Designed to work with a leather ligature, they subtly modify the way the reed vibrates and directly influence the character of the sound.
The metal insert, combined with the leather, gives a more centred, well-defined timbre, ideal for precise, structured playing. The leather insert, which is identical to that of the ligature, reinforces the compact, dark side of the sound, making it ideal for deep passages or traditional repertoire.
Finally, the softer leather insert adds more roundness and amplitude, which can enrich melodic lines and expressive phrasing.
