With the VTX series, Vox hits hard by offering an all-purpose amp with a brand new modeling engine using VET (Virtual Element Technology) as well as a multi-stage Valvetronix tube preamp.

- The Valvetronix multi-stage tube preamp integrates an analog circuit that reproduces the subtle nuances of an all-tube amp.

The differences between Class A and AB, the effects of bias settings and the variations in tube response are authentically reproduced by an analog circuit. Je dirais que c'est un très bon ampli à modélisation pour le travail à la maison, le son est plutôt bon (pas froid et synthétique comme certains autres que j'ai eu dans ma vie) donc et n'es pas dégradé lorsqu'on travail au casque. Seul bémol je dirais qu'il aurait peut-être été mieux à 15W et qu'il peut se montrer un peu compliqué à utiliser au début si on veut créer son propre preset surtout si on le fait directement sur l'ampli mais via l'application Toneroom c'est plus simple et les modification se font en direct donc c'est très pratique pour travailler un son. Ah si encore un bémol pour les modélisation d'ampli où pour certains, notamment les typé "metal", il peut être quasi impossible d'avoir un clean alors que dans la réalité c'est possible.
