Warwick - Masterbuilt Thumb 5 NT Black

The Warwick Masterbuilt Thumb 5 NT Black is one of the brand's iconic models, designed in the German Custom Shop by Warwick luthiers.

This 5-string bass is based on neck-through construction, with a three-laminated wenge neck for excellent stability and even vibration transmission along the entire length of the 863.6 mm scale.

The dappled bubinga body provides natural density and a solid tonal response, while the tiger ebony fingerboard ensures a precise attack and easy-to-read notes.

Playing comfort is enhanced by a 660.4 mm radius, 26 jumbo bronze frets and a brass Just-A-Nut III saddle, making it easy to fine-tune the instrument to suit the player's style. Illuminated side markers improve visibility on stage or in dark environments, a real plus for live situations.

Warwick's active electronics, combined with active MEC J/J pickups, open up a wide range of settings with controls for volume, balance and bass, midrange and treble EQ.

The result is a punchy low end, well-defined midrange and clear highs, ideal for funk, modern rock, technical metal or studio playing.

The Warwick 2-piece brass bridge, Warwick tuners with wooden knobs and security locks contribute to overall stability. The bass comes with a leather Rockbag, a Warwick user kit and a signed certificate of authenticity.
