Waves - SuperRack SoundGrid

The Waves SuperRack SoundGrid is an advanced plugin rack designed for live mixing engineers, whether they are in front of house (FOH), monitoring, broadcast or AV. By leveraging SoundGrid technology, it offloads plugin processing to an external DSP server, reducing the load on the host computer and enabling smooth, stable execution with no perceptible latency.

SuperRack SoundGrid is designed to optimize every step of the live mix. Upon setup, an automatic startup wizard scans the devices and adjusts the system accordingly. The multi-touch GUI is intuitive and fluid, allowing quick access to essential parameters. In addition, the plugin racks are fully customizable: changing the order of effects, copying presets between channels, inserting external processors, everything is designed to adapt to your workflow.

With the ability to connect up to four active DSP servers and four redundant servers, SuperRack SoundGrid offers unique scalability in live mixing. Engineers can run up to 64 plugin racks simultaneously, ensuring studio-quality live mixing without compromising stability.

SuperRack SoundGrid seamlessly integrates with DiGiCo and LAWO consoles using the ProLink protocol, providing full control via a touchscreen interface or MIDI commands. The mRecall app provides quick access to saved parameters, and the MixTwin iPad app provides remote control to adjust effects and processing from anywhere in the room.

SuperRack SoundGrid automatically synchronizes latencies between different processes and ensures total stability thanks to advanced network and server management. In the event of a technical problem, the system instantly switches to a redundant server, ensuring uninterrupted operation.
