The Wharfedale Pro Typhon-AXF12-BT 2-way active loudspeaker boasts 720W RMS power, a new DSP with FIR crossovers and Bluetooth aptX connectivity. Designed for demanding musicians, DJs and installers, it combines a robust design with advanced audio processing, delivering accurate sound reproduction even at high volumes. The Typhon-AXF series retains the design and ergonomics of its predecessors, while taking acoustic performance to a new level.

Presentation
The Wharfedale Pro Typhon-AXF12-BT features Class D bi-amplification perfectly matched to its in-house transducers. The 12" woofer and 1" compression tweeter ensure accurate bass and treble reproduction, even at high volumes. Thanks to its Hybrid Symmetry Horn waveguide, dispersion remains homogeneous, ideal for front, rear or fixed installation configurations.
Its new digital processor incorporates FIR filters that improve phase, frequency response and overall reproduction, while preserving the original hardware structure. This treatment allows you to go beyond the limits of the cabinet by injecting depth into the soundstage. And to make matters worse, the Typhon-AXF12-BT is dust and splashproof thanks to its IP54 certification.
In terms of use, Bluetooth aptX connectivity and the True Wireless Stereo (TWS) function make it easy to set up on the move or without cables. Two Typhon-AXF12-BTs can be synchronised in stereo, without the need for wires or headphones. With its four integrated handles, nine M8 mounting points and moulded polypropylene casing, it lends itself equally well to mobile performances and more permanent installations.

Compared with the old Typhon-AX version, the Wharfedale Pro Typhon-AXF12-BT is more accurate thanks to the FIR filters. The architecture remains identical, but everything that comes out of the grille is much more controlled. It's the same loudspeaker, but boosted with intelligent DSP.
As a complement, consider the WPB-2 wall bracket for fixed installations. And if you really want to experience wireless stereo, get yourself a second Typhon-AXF12-BT: your neighbours won't believe it. Unless they're dancing with you, of course.
