The Wharfedale Pro Typhon-AXF8-BT 2-way active loudspeaker condenses everything you'd expect from an already well-respected series, with a hint of progress thrown in for good measure. Just as robust and compact as ever, it now has FIR filters and a reworked DSP to refine its sound response and extend its range. With Bluetooth, TWS, Class D bi-amplification and IP54 certification, it's ready to take on the toughest stages as well as the most demanding installations, without losing its bearings or a note.

The Wharfedale Pro Typhon-AXF8-BT takes up the mantle of the Typhon series with a refined acoustic approach thanks to FIR filters, integrated into a brand new DSP. As a result, phase, response and dynamics have been stepped up a gear. With its in-house-designed transducers, this loudspeaker delivers controlled dispersion over 100° x 80°. Even at sustained volume, everything remains clean, precise and controlled.
The connectivity doesn't disappoint: Bluetooth aptX, TWS for wireless stereo, XLR, ∅6.35 mm jack and RCA inputs, not forgetting an XLR line output. Whether you're a DJ, a technician or just a music lover looking for compact power, the Typhon-AXF8-BT won't make you repeat yourself twice. Compared with the previous AX version, the Typhon-AXF8-BT features FIR filters and more advanced DSP processing. The rendering is more faithful and more precise, especially in the bass. Nothing revolutionary in form, but a real qualitative leap for the ears.
Need a partner? A Wharfedale Pro subwoofer or a second AXF8-BT to take advantage of the TWS will do the trick.
