The ATHOS 6R Black is designed for system integrators seeking an installation loudspeaker capable of long-term operation in environments subject to climatic variations, without compromising sound reproduction quality.

This new generation of the ATHOS series features a completely redesigned construction, with a cabinet made from a technical polymer specially selected for its resistance to outdoor conditions.

Unlike older fibreglass constructions, this material offers better resistance to rain, extreme temperature fluctuations and airborne particles. Its textured, wood-effect finish also provides a more discreet appearance, making it easier to integrate into spaces where aesthetics are just as important as acoustic performance.

The speaker features a 6.5-inch woofer fitted with a 1.5-inch voice coil, paired with a 1-inch compression driver featuring a polymer ring diaphragm. This two-way design ensures clear vocal reproduction whilst maintaining balanced musical performance, making it suitable for both background music and public address announcements.

Thanks to its built-in transformer, the ATHOS 6R Black can be used in both low-impedance (8 Ω) mode and within 70 V or 100 V line-level public address systems. This versatility makes it easy to integrate into a wide range of projects: shops, outdoor terraces, restaurants, schools, hotels, places of worship, public buildings and leisure facilities.
